Forcefully terminates an active synchronization session. Use this endpoint when you need to abandon a sync due to errors, incorrect data, or to start a fresh sync. This action is irreversible.
When to Use
- Data quality issues discovered mid-sync
- Need to restart with corrected data
- Configuration changes require a fresh start
Limitations
- Only syncs with status started can be aborted
- Completed or failed syncs cannot be terminated
- Any uploaded data is permanently discarded
